10. La Iglesia Cristiana Presbiteriana

It's so hard to find a Protestant church in Toledo, Spain! When I searched for churches on the Internet, I had to be really specific because otherwise, it suggested cathedrals to visit or Catholic church to attend mass!

Once I found this sweet, tiny, Presbyterian church, I should've just kept going to this church. I went to another church just to keep looking and that was a mistake. I won't get into all the details but just trust me, it was a mess. This church may not be all that I prayed for, but it's all that God had for me and wanted for me. I'm thankful for this church because the people there are so kind and welcoming! The first day I came, the Pastor's wife, Natalie, and I exchanged numbers and they drove me back to the foundation because I wasn't sure how to get back. Everyone there just seems so authentic and friendly. I love it. It takes me back to the sweet little church back in Connecticut, Harvest Christian Fellowship. Those were good times. And so are these.

 Kthnxbai!

What a bittersweet sentence... I still cannot believe I am here, living in Toledo, Spain, studying literature and eating authentic paella and Spanish tortilla de patatas.  Last night, Álvaro and I went to the church of the Jesuitas. His friend was going to be singing there, so he invited us to come. After getting some delicious croquettes and walking in the rain, we went to the church to see what it was about.   It...
